My work in the last four years has focused on Agro-pastoral conflicts in rural Ghana. The research examines the causes of Agro-pastoral conflicts, why they sometimes escalate, and their impact on the authority of politico-legal institutions. I also work on instituting local peacebuilding and conflict resolution bodies, offering guidance to sub-governmental and traditional institutions toward minimizing violent conflict between agricultural groups.
