Chukwuma Ume is a lecturer at the University of Nigeria. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria and pursued his Master of Science degree in Environment and Development at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Currently, he is undertaking his PhD at the Center for International Development and Environment, Justus Liebig University in Gießen. His research focus revolves around the captivating intersection of Agroecology and the Political Ecology of Food. He was part of 2022 JPS writeshop at Cape Town, South Africa.
