The poverty debate in Kerala: Why eradication is never the end of the story

Abstract: A positive outcome of the current debate on poverty is that it has moved beyond academic discussions and into the realm of public political engagement. The discourse needs to move past individual deprivation and engage with the deeper inequalities in the distribution of power, wealth, and opportunity.
